I just love vintage posters, book covers,... design in general.
So, I've made a little painting in acryl from a 50's magazine cover.
Models from that time were also no walking skeletons like now. A woman with shapes is just more fun to draw. (50 x 60 cm)

PAINTING

Someone wanted a painting from the famous photograph "Lunch atop a skyscraper" in 1932.
It's a black-and-white picture taken during construction of the GE Building at Rockefeller Center
in New York. Here's the result.

My mac didn't fit into my bag, but I never go away without my sketchbook and pencils.

Funny thought : Apparently our cosmos is one big recycling bin, also our planet and ourselves. Because we are all made out of atoms blabla... such a funny thought that we all have pieces in us of galaxies and dinosaurs :)

Flower power

I've painted this a few months ago. I wanted to do a different style. It was inspired on wallpaper.
NOW it's hanging, together with 10 other paintings of me, at my second exhibition. The exhibition is in 't Steencaycken ( Hoek 76/25 - 2850 Boom) from 2/april till sunday 15/may. There's also work of other participants. It really motivates me to keep on painting. It's nice to have a hobby like that.

My painting of this week. I love the early and mid 20th century. It's based upon the musical Chicago.
